Adonis Gear Cookie Dough Review

Check out our Adonis Gear cookie dough review to find out what we thought when we this viral fitness fanatics treat.

Is it just me, or have protein products become a bit of a gimmick lately?

In the age of protein mania, even crackers and crisps are rebranded as ‘high-protein’ snacks, showing that when it comes to marketing, everything seems to be just a few grams of protein away from becoming a must-have health food.

Once upon a time, I was like a kid in a high-protein sweet shop, but now I’ve become slightly numb to the whole facade.

Wraps, noodles, porridge pots—even high-protein water; where does it all end?

So, when I heard about Adonis Gear’s Protein Cookie Dough, I have to admit—I was a little sceptical.

‘Is it genuinely high in protein, or is it just another gimmick?’ was my initial thought.

And that’s all it was—just a thought—until fate led me to Adonis Gears’ pop-up stand at Dubai Active 2024. Intrigued yet pessimistic, I decided to put the dough to the taste test.

Was I converted? Read on to find out in my full Adonis Gear cookie dough review…

Adonis Gear Cookie Dough Review

Maybe I was a bit too pithy in my opening thoughts. I don’t have a problem with protein products per se—in fact, I use them all the time. They just need to genuinely deliver on the ‘high-protein’ promise.

My biggest pet peeve is when something is branded as high-protein, only to check the label and find it barely scrapes by with 5g.

Surrounded by fellow protein connoisseurs, I spun Adonis Gear’s tub of Protein Cookie Dough around like a pompous food critic—and was pleasantly surprised by what I found.

Each serving packs 22g of high-quality casein protein—a slow-digesting dairy protein rich in essential amino acids and great for fueling muscle gains. Now that is what I call high-protein. All you other wannabes take note.

The other key macros were impressive too. With each scoop delivering just 6.2g of fat, 11.4g of carbs, and as little as 143 calories, it won’t make too big of a dent in your daily allowance—especially if you’re on a cut.

With a big checkmark next to the protein box, let’s move on to the real reason you’re all here: the taste. Because my Adonis Gear cookie dough review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning how good it tastes!

Adonis Gears’ Protein Cookie Dough comes in an insane range of flavours that tap right into nostalgic cravings.

Options range from classics like Loaded Triple Chocolate, Classic Choc Chip, and Caramel Peanut Butter, to more adventurous varieties such as Lemon Cheesecake and Mango Vanilla.

There are literally so many to choose from, and we’d be here all day if I listed them in full, so I’d recommend checking out Adonis Gear’s website to see what takes your fancy.

I started with what I knew to ease myself in: a bite each of the Triple Chocolate, Loaded Choc Chip, and Caramel Cheesecake. Every single one was a hit.

The texture was spot-on, and it didn’t have that grainy aftertaste you often get with protein-boosted snacks. Something that’s definitely worth noting in this Adonis Gear cookie dough review.

It’s crazy how many memories digging into this silky-smooth dough unlocked for me—it was like being a child again, scooping raw cookie dough straight from the mixing bowl. You just can’t beat it.

Classic flavours aside, the one that really caught me off guard was the Mango Vanilla. It was everything I didn’t even know I wanted in a sweet treat: fruity, juicy, creamy, and insanely moreish.

It goes without saying that I bought myself a tub. And the cherry on top of the cookie (if you’ll pardon the pun) is how easy it is to mix—just add water and stir.

I take my hat off to you, Adonis Gear. You’ve changed this old sceptic’s mind, and I’d like to publicly apologise for ever doubting you and don’t have a bad word to say about you in my Adonis Gear cookie dough review.

How Much is the Adonis Gear Cookie Dough?

You can pick up a 20-serving tub of Adonis Gears’ viral Protein Cookie Dough for around $75, or £38 if you’re shopping from the UK. Wherever you are in the world I hope I’ve emphasised enough in this Adonis Gear cookie dough review how good it is and how badly you need to try it!

Smaller 400g pouches are available for just under half the price, but trust me—you’ll want to buy in bulk for two reasons: It’s insanely good, and it sells out fast. So head to the Adonis Gear website now!
